How to install the main body of the door lock?

The door lock of the house is usually a spherical lock. Before installation, disassemble the door lock. Half of the door locks with key holes are installed outside the door. There is a hole in the middle of the two hemispheres. We poke the hole with a small iron cone and twist the half sphere without a keyhole. The hemisphere inside the door was removed. Then observe the rest of the door lock. In addition to the hemisphere of the key hole, there is a connecting shaft and two rings on the shaft. After we take down the two rings, we can start to install them.

Insert the hemisphere with the key hole into the door opening, and be sure to place the hemisphere with the key hole on the outside, or it will have to be installed again. Then we need to adjust the latch. The latch is the key part where we can open and close the door when we turn the lock handle. After we use a small iron cone to move the lock tongue, we can turn the handle lock tongue to work normally. Next, install the two rings just removed from the inside of the door to the lock. After the small ring on the inside is installed, it needs to be fixed with screws. The large ring on the outside is directly installed on the screw opening.
